Punjab National Bank has announced a total of 545 Local Bank Officer vacancies across 17 states and Union Territories.

Candidates must apply for only one state and should possess proficiency in the mandatory local language prescribed for that state.

The vacancies are provisional and may be changed by the Bank according to its requirements. The merit list will be prepared state wise and category wise.

Important Vacancy Related Conditions

Nationality

Candidates applying for PNB LBO Jobs 2026 must satisfy the nationality conditions prescribed by the Bank.

An applicant must be:

• A citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India

Candidates falling under the categories other than Indian citizens must possess the required eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India, wherever applicable.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a University or Institution recognized or approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.

The candidate must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate confirming graduation status on or before the last date of application.

The result of the qualifying examination must have been declared on or before 9 August 2026.
