The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), a premier centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)under the Department of Space, Government of India, has released the VSSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 Notification inviting applications for 460 Apprentice Trainee positions. The recruitment includes 273 Graduate Apprentice and 187 Technician Apprentice vacancies across various engineering and non-engineering disciplines.
Unlike regular recruitments, there is no online application process. Eligible candidates must attend the Walk-in Selection Drive scheduled on 25 July 2026 (Saturday) at Karthika Thirunal Govt. V&GHSS for Girls, Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, along with their original certificates and self-attested copies. Interested candidates are advised to read the complete notification carefully before attending the selection drive.

Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice
Candidates should possess:
- Four-year B.E./B.Tech Degree (or three-year lateral entry degree) in the relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA.
Hotel Management
- First Class Degree in Hotel Management/Catering Technology with minimum 60% marks.
General Stream Graduates
- Bachelor’s Degree (Three-Year Course) with minimum 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA.
Technician Apprentice
- First Class Three-Year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized State Board of Technical Education.
Commercial Practice
- Three-Year Diploma in Commercial Practice with minimum 6.32 CGPA.
Other Eligibility Details
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- Candidates who completed their Degree/Diploma before April 2022 are not eligible.
- Candidates awaiting final semester results are not eligible.
- Candidates pursuing M.E./M.Tech are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act are not eligible.
- Candidates with one year or more work experience after qualification are not eligible.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Southern Region Boards and Universities.
Stipend Details
Selected candidates will receive the following monthly stipend:
