The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB NTPC UG Answer Key 2026 for the NTPC Undergraduate (CEN 07/2025) CBT-1 Examination. The tentative answer key became available on 27 June 2026 at 7:00 PM on all regional RRB websites as well as the central RRB portal.

Along with the provisional answer key, candidates can also access their response sheet and question paper. Those who find any discrepancy in the answer key can submit objections online from 27 June to 5 July 2026 (11:55 PM) by paying the prescribed objection fee.

Candidates are advised to download their response sheet early and calculate their expected score before the declaration of the CBT-1 result.

Steps to Raise Objections

  1. Login to the RRB Portal.
  2. Click on Objection Tracker.
  3. Select the Question ID.
  4. Choose the language of the question.

  6. Pay ₹50 per challenged question.
  7. Submit before the deadline.

RRB will examine all valid objections before releasing the Final Answer Key.

How to Calculate Expected Marks

Candidates can estimate their scores using the following formula:

Raw Score = Correct Answers − (Incorrect Answers × 1/3)

Example

Suppose you attempted 90 questions.

  • Correct Answers = 72
  • Incorrect Answers = 18

Calculation:

  • Positive Marks = 72
  • Negative Marks = 18 × 1/3 = 6

Expected Score = 66 Marks

This estimated score gives candidates an idea of their performance before the official result is announced.
