As per the information provided in the recruitment notice, 80% of seats are reserved for female candidates and 20% for male candidates across participating AIIMS institutes.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational qualification routes:
Route 1
B.Sc. Hons. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an institute or university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.
OR
Post Certificate or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or university.
Candidates must also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
Route 2
Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institute, board or council.
Candidates must also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
In addition, candidates applying through the GNM route must possess two years of experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital after obtaining the required qualification and completing the required registration formalities.
The eligibility conditions must be fulfilled on or before the closing date of online registration, i.e. 13 August 2026.
AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates for the Nursing Officer post will be placed at Level 7 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The final merit list will be prepared primarily on the basis of performance in the NORCET Mains examination.
Candidates qualifying in Stage I, up to five times the number of seats available in each category, may be called for Stage II.
