The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has released the ONGC Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2026 Notification (Advertisement No. 2/2026 (R&P)) inviting online applications for 52 Graduate Trainee (E1 Level) posts in Engineering and Geology disciplines. The recruitment will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT)followed by Interview and Medical Fitness Examination.

Eligible candidates possessing the required Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate qualification can apply online through the official ONGC Careers Portal from 17 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. Important Qualification Details

  • Qualifications must be recognized by AICTE, UGC, AIU or other competent statutory authorities.
  • Distance Learning or Part-Time qualifications are accepted only if recognized by the competent authority.
  • Candidates must have acquired the required qualification on or before the last date of application.
  • Equivalent qualifications will not be accepted unless specifically mentioned in the official notification.
  • Candidates having CGPA/OGPA must submit a university-issued conversion certificate during document verification.

Other Eligibility Details

  • Candidates can apply for only one Engineering/Academic Stream.

  • Government/PSU employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during document verification.
