Age Limit

The UTET 2026 notification does not prescribe any minimum or maximum age limit for candidates. Applicants must only satisfy the required educational qualifications and teacher training eligibility criteria prescribed by the Board.

Educational Qualification

UTET-I (Primary Level)

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Senior Secondary with required percentage along with D.El.Ed/BTC.
• Senior Secondary with B.El.Ed.
• Graduation with D.El.Ed/BTC.
• Diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI.
• Other qualifications prescribed under NCTE norms.

UTET-II (Upper Primary Level)

Candidates should possess any one of the following:

• Graduation with D.El.Ed.
• Graduation with B.Ed.
• Graduation with B.Ed (Special Education).
• Senior Secondary with B.El.Ed.
• BA/B.Sc.Ed or equivalent qualifications.

Candidates pursuing eligible teacher training programmes are also eligible to apply provisionally, subject to fulfilling all conditions mentioned in the official notification.
