Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna company and subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released the NCL Jobs 2026 notification for the recruitment of Mining Sirdar T&S Grade C and Surveyor (Mining) T&S Grade B posts. A total of 259 vacancies have been announced under Employment Notification Ref. NCL/SING/HR/Direct-Recruitment/2026-27/246.
The online application process will begin on 14 July 2026 and continue until 05 August 2026 through the official NCL website. Eligible candidates possessing the required mining qualifications and certificates can apply online. Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination.

Educational Qualification
Mining Sirdar T&S Grade C
Candidates must satisfy either of the following eligibility conditions:
Option 1
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
- Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
- Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
Option 2
- Matriculation (10th Pass).
- Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering.
- Valid Overman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
- Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
Surveyor (Mining) T&S Grade B
Candidates should possess one of the following:
Option 1
- Matriculation from a recognized board.
- Valid Surveyor Certificate of Competency (SCC) issued under Coal Mines Regulations.
Option 2
- Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or Mine Surveying.
- Valid Surveyor Certificate of Competency.
Age Limit (As on 05 August 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age Relaxation

- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Rules

Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary under NCWA-XI.
