The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, has released a recruitment notification for 242 Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer posts under Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026. Eligible candidates with a graduation degree and the required computer or stenography skills can apply online. The last date to submit the online application form is 16 August 2026.

The actual application fee is ₹100. Candidates from eligible exempted categories will receive a full refund of the ₹500 processing fee after appearing in the Written Test. Other candidates will receive a refund of ₹400, while ₹100 will be retained as the application fee.
Candidates can pay the processing fee through the online payment mode prescribed by ISRO during the application process.

OBC candidates can get an upper age limit of up to 31 years, while SC/ST candidates can get an upper age limit of up to 33 years, subject to the applicable Government of India rules.

Age relaxation will be applicable to eligible OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex Servicemen, Government employees, meritorious sportspersons, widows, divorced women and judicially separated women who have not remarried, as per the applicable Government rules.

The vacancies are distributed across ISRO centres and units located in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hassan, Hyderabad, Mahendragiri, New Delhi, Sriharikota and Thiruvananthapuram.
Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 on a 10 point scale from a recognised university.
The degree must have been completed within the minimum prescribed duration of the course. Candidates must also have proficiency in the use of computers.

Candidates applying for JPA and Stenographer related posts must have a minimum speed of 60 words per minute in English Shorthand or Stenography and must have proficiency in computer use.
Candidates holding a Diploma in Commercial Practice or Diploma in Commercial and Computer Practice along with an Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by the Board of Apprenticeship Training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme may be considered for the required one year of experience as per the notification conditions.
