The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released the NPCIL Kudankulam Jobs 2026 Notification under Advertisement No. NPCIL/KKNPP/HRM/01/2026 for the recruitment of 255 Category-II Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN) posts at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP), Tamil Nadu. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online from 15 July 2026 (10:00 AM) to 04 August 2026 (04:00 PM). Candidates selected for the recruitment will undergo a 2-year training programme and, after successful completion, will be appointed as Technician-B (Level-3) in NPCIL. Age relaxation for PwBD candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for the recruitment. The upper age limit is 24 years, while candidates belonging to reserved categories are entitled to relaxation in accordance with Government of India and NPCIL recruitment guidelines.

Note: Out of the total vacancies, 11 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
The educational qualification varies according to the trade and discipline applied for. Candidates applying for the Plant Operator post should have passed 10+2 (Science Stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing the prescribed minimum marks.
For Technician trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, Electronics Mechanic, and Instrument Mechanic, candidates should have passed 10th (SSC) with Science and Mathematics along with a 2-Year ITI Certificatein the relevant trade. Candidates whose ITI course duration is less than two years must possess the required work experience as specified in the official notification.
NPCIL has provided relaxed eligibility criteria for candidates whose land has been acquired for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project.
Eligible PAP candidates will receive 20% bonus marks during the selection process for Group-C posts as per NPCIL recruitment rules. Applicants claiming PAP benefits must produce valid supporting documents during document verification.
Selected candidates will undergo 2 years of training with the following stipend:
