The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the NEET UG 2026 Re-Test Result by July 20, 2026, after completing the review of more than 10,000 objections submitted by candidates against the provisional answer key. With over 20 lakh medical aspirants waiting for the final outcome, the evaluation process has entered its final phase.
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination was conducted on June 21, 2026, following the cancellation of the earlier examination held on May 3. According to official sources, the NTA received over 10,000 objections after releasing the provisional answer key on June 25, 2026. Candidates were allowed to challenge any answer they believed to be incorrect until June 28, 2026 (11:50 PM).
Each objection required a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question, which will be refunded only if the expert committee accepts the challenge.
Many candidates submitted objections for multiple questions, significantly increasing the workload for the examination authority.
